Katkin Architecture a full service architecture firm founded in 2007 and based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We design and manage a range of projects, with an emphasis on residential construction and renovations, and commercial interiors. In addition to architectural services, we provide interior and custom furniture design, creating a seamless experience of space - what Frank Lloyd Wright called the Gesamkunstwerk. We believe sustainable ecological principles are fundamental to good design, and are passionate about creating positive connections between the built and natural environments.

Principal Rebecca Katkin is a LEED* Certified, California and Colorado registered architect and educator. She studied architecture and urbanism at Columbia College in the city of New York, and received her Masters of Architecture from Yale University in 1999. Ms. Katkin is an adjunct professor at California College of the Arts, where she teaches interior design and interdisciplinary studios and courses in materiality & space. Her publications include work on the urbanization of agriculture and the impact of sprawl development on small towns.
